On June 25, 2011, The Kitty Kats assisted @ the Annual Seat Pleasant Community Day (celebrating the end-of-school-year for the youths of Seat Pleasant, MD) We assisted by setting up, with the serving food and other duties where needed. This event was a labor of love for Sylvester Brown, the head of YMEYM youth mentoring program. A special thanks to Positive Sisterhood*DC for their assistance with this event. The Kitty Kats have been serving our communities in a charitable capacity for over 5 years!!! |

The Kitties participated in the 2011 Aids Walk, Washington, DC. The Kitties Who Kare team walked from Freedom Plaza and around the Capital to assist with raising donations for finding a cure for Aids. The team not only raised money for this worthy cause but some members took an Aids test at one of the testing stations. Always Be Safe, Get Tested Regularly & Make A Difference!!!
